Ok, I sold out last night and bought an Xbox 
Need opinions on these games please:
Halo
SW: Outcast
Indiana Jones
Splinter Cell
Dead to Rights
Any other opinions on good Xbox games would be helpful...

Halo is one of the best games ever made.
Splinter Cell is kind of a pain in the ass but enjoyable none the less.
Dead to Rights, don't know, looked like a max payne knockoff!

Halo is good but overrated.
Splinter Cell just plain kicks ass, but needs more levels. Speaking of which did they ever add any via xbox live like they were going to?

i thought gotham racing was overrated, but halo is definitely an amazing game. i know this sounds stupid, but theres a different feeling of playing your friend on the computer and playing him on a console. its somehow more satisfying. if you love FPS, Halo is the best one ever made for a console

Halo - Very far from the best game ever made, but not bad (would be 100 times better if you could use a keyboard and mouse since the control is a pain in the ass with a console controller)
SW: Outcast - junk as is pretty much every SW game
Indiana Jones - alright
Splinter Cell - very nice
Dead to Rights - more junk
Oddworld is great if you like the platform/puzzle type games
Dragon's Lair 3D was one of the better action platform games I have played in a long time, fun but just a renter until you beat it

Great game one of my favorites. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. Halo 2 is supposedly coming out in March. If you could wait I bet the price would be in the 20's for it brand new.

I HATE Halo.. My friends are f*****g obsesed with the f*****g XBOX, they all go over to eachothers house EVERY weekend and have tournaments with Halo.. EVERY WEEKEND.. I played Halo twice for about an hour and I cant stand the damn game...
Plus one of my friends is so... not obsessed but.. protective of it.. When we say how big the controler is he gets in this hudge fit and gets p****d off.
But ya, XBOX sucks so I say you buy your soul back and return the damn thing

Halo f*****g rules. There is a prog you can download off the internet called Xbox connect that lets you play it online. Try renting it first to see if you like it.

Halo is NOT the best game ever made. It's mediocre at best and the controls f*****g blow. The multiplayer is very gay and single player wise the gameplay is barely above average. The only good thing about that game is the graphics which pale in comparison to UT2003 w/ a good vid card.

Splinter Cell is by far my most favored game for the Xbox. The graphics and gameplay blew me away.

Xbox controls have been shrunk with the new models (got my xmbox replaced). Halo controls are awsome if you use inverted and if it were on a keyboard it would suck imho - or would not be nearly as good.
Halo is the best FPS game I've ever played and I can't wait for Halo2.
LOTR: TT is a lot of fun also.

Wtg ps2 port nothing more added except dolby surround sound.
Halo is the best fps on the consoles. Halo 2 isn't expected out till winter around dec.

Halo is best FPS console game period. Kicks total ass. Mechassault is also a good game imo. I don't like Splinter Cell that much, but for some reason everyone thinks it kicks a large amount of ass so you'd probly like it.

The controls in halo were actually phenomenolly good considering it was an fps game using a controller. You want an FPS with horrible controls? Play Duke Nukem for the PS1. It came out before the "Dual Shock" controller, so you moved with the dpad... and aimed with the LR1/2 buttons!
Everyone seems to whine about the size of the xbox controller, personally, it reminds me a lot of the dreamcast controller, so I'm used to it. Yes, it's pretty big, is that a problem? Not really. Big controllers are not a valid reason for "xbox sucks" - it's nothing but a s****y excuse for unrelenting hatred for microsoft fueled by nothing more than years of following the microsoft hating crowd. Unless you have the hands of a six year old child you should have no trouble holding the xbox controller once getting used to it.
I'll kill myself before I buy any games based off of star wars, harry potter, lord of the rings, or star trek.

and NFL Fever is GAY no matter what way you look at it. If you play nfl fever for more than 3minutes, you become gay. If you like nfl fever, you got a problem with yourself.

What's the point of no load time when the games are complete ass? and Minion Both Xbox controllers are fine to hold, but when it comes to football games and probably great deal others where the 4 shoulder buttons are used it's ass.
I repeat if you don't believe that nfl fever is gay you are in denial with the game and yourself you stupid f*g.
