Is anyone else annoyed by Ruins of, Scars of, Legacy of, Planes of, Lost Dungeons of, Gates of
And the upcoming zones? What the f**k. 9/10 are named like, "Somename, Some Shittier Name".

Ex: Doomfire, The Burning Lands - PoFire
I want to know what d*****s comes up with that. I want my zones to be named:
"You have entered some pile of shit zone that no one cares about!"
-about 85% of EQ.

I stopped paying attention to zone names back when Velious came out. Whenever my brother asks where I was hunting, I'm like 'the zone with the ice and seals' or 'the zone with the two guys and the tower' or 'the zone we were in three days ago.'

Personally, I like the inconsistant god names.
At first in PoP when you're killing gods its just their name. Terris Thule, Saryrn, Lord Mithaniel Marr, etc.
Then you get to RZ, and he's called Rallos Zek.... the Warlord! (okay, without the .... and !).
After RZTW you go back to the simple names, such as Solusek Ro.
Then you get to the elementals and all the gods have the cool title. Coirnav the Avatar of Water, Xegony the Queen of Air, etc, etc.
Finally in time the gods lose their titles again

They always do that though, ToV... Lord Feshlak, Lord Vyemm, but "Eashen of the Sky." And as far as zone names, I think Ruins of Lxanvom wins the award for least pronouncible. WTB a vowel.

It's not that they are inconsistent but more that not all mobs have titles, just like not all players have titles.

I don't do zone names, I do initials or end everything with fek or f*k. Example: I had to run from nex to sh to fg to dsp to ss to ms to ml to tg to ssra for AL, HP, XTC, and emp. Then I got a TL to PoT, to go to PoT for RZ then wound up in PoF to kill Magmafuk. you can use the same initials liek I did with PoT meaning two different zones and people still understand.

The "Plane of Air"/"Plane of Sky" thing always p****d me off.
This game is running out of ideas, and so they are now stealing ideas as hard as they can.
Next expansion will have a new class called "Jeddi", and they will use longswords that they can empower with magical energy. Also, they will be able to float ala DMF and use exciting new spells involving telekinesis that will allow them to move objects!

they should call the next expansion Piece of Shit there's your epic title still has the "of" with all the same buggy ass zone like plane of torrment what a cluster f**k of a zone. And more s****y graphics and don't forget to add in that one zone EVERY SINGLE f*****g PERSON HAS TO FLOCK TO TO XP. /cough plane of valor, BoT, velks, karnors, lowerguk/solb jesus sony sure seems to f*****g lag the f**k out of some zones and leave most others empty. I say f**k new content i say revamp the current shit that is gay and redo all zones that not a friggen soul is ever seen in. /cough beholders maze i don't think i ever stepped foot in that zone or what ever other gay zones in that not a person would be caught dead in. so many problems why the f**k do we want to create more why not just fix the current shit that is wrong like attack animations what a cluster of retardation that is lets make it look so a dagger slashes and other stupid shit like that put some damn differentiation in.

What would I name new expansions? Something along the lines of the story. Gates of Discord? Let me guess, um... Time goes apeshit and spews 450hp items in all directions. Okay, good enough.
I'm guessing Veeshan has something to do with it, only because they've milked most of the other storylines (except Mistmoore, who I wish would unleash his hellish wrath on the land and violate Kerafyrm's glowing ghost spincter).
Granted, these are not good by any means but they are at least a little different:

It's too late for Mistmoore, Dunn. If they could pull it off and keep the content in line for the 50-60 crowd, I say do it.
But we all know what would happen. It would be a huge castle full of giant, warping dark elves that quad for 1300, harmtouch and that are "immune to changes in their run speed".
Then, after you've cleared these trash mobs and killed trash named mobs like "Ursula the Wicked" and "Lord Darkhooves, Hatred's Reindeer", you'll finally get to Mayong's room only to see a bunch of untargetable red mobs and a trigger mob named "messenger of mistmoore" or something harmless like that. You kill him and then start to work on the red cons (who are like the trash mobs but they quad for 1350 instead of 1300) for 3 hours until Mayong pops. And he'll be ridiculously out of the league of the rest of the mobs there, so your tanks better be over 15k hp by then as he'll quad-deathtouch and manaburn every 30 seconds.
Anyhow, my point is keep it simple. If they ever do decide to put Mayong back in the game, keep it in the scope of his storyline. We don't need some super "Plane of Mistmoore".

Naw just give me god like powers every time a guild wants to attempt, like quad deathtouch half of keras hps warping backstabbing random waves of crap mob summoning, AOE BLIND GO ITRAER!!!, umm.. oh yes id also have Aoe unresistable spinstun /combo / 2k lifetap.... then if you beat me you get to go on to Mayong. Mayong would do everything I do and then depop if you managed to get him to 24% life and itd be a "script error" ... hah
