This is going to really look like a scam and i might get in trouble, but meh.
STEPS TO GET A FREE XBOX 360 ELITE! (AND HOW TO NOT LET THIS WEBSITE SCAM YOU!)
STEP 1: go here http://xbox360elite.getstuff4free.org?r=4665
Step 2: Sign up.
STEP 3 O NOT GO FOR ANY OF THEIR OFFERS!! this is how they scam you making you believe that if you get any of their stuff you will actually be rewarded.....
STEP 4: Get your friends/family to sign up using the link you are given that is similar to the one i am showing you. i have found that the best way to get referrals is to either A. ask family, or B. post an auction on Ebay telling people exactly what i have told you. after you get 12 people to sign up after they click your link then WHAM
Step 5: enjoy your xbox like me 
use your brain and it impossible to be scammed here.

haha on step 3 it made a smiley face when it was supposed to be a semicolon followed by a D making the word DO...so it would read...DO NOT GO FOR ANY OF THEIR OFFERS!!

Hmm....how do explain this?
Referral Status: 0/12 Offer Credits: 0/1

doing their offers gives you fake credits that do nothing, the way to get an xbox is to go to STATUs at the top, there you will have a link. if people click the link and then sign up afterward, then you get credit for a referral. 12 referrals=xbox/$480

I'm sorry...I guess I'm not understanding. I've worked it all out and it still isn't giving me the XBox. It says I have to complete at least one offer to get the XBox. I have the 12 referrals (all done by me using different computers, names, addresses, etc) but the 1 offer credit is missing. Can you help me out, please? Thanks!

hmm so it says i was referred by you, meaning that you do not have 12 referrals, meaning that you do NOT have a 360 with you. you = liar

you think you cant refer more people after you get 12 referrals? i have no clue how to get people to this particular website other than my refferal link, besides...these people are trying to scam people by making them buy things thinking thy will get rewarded for it. that made me mad, so i am trying to get people to pretty much use themm take their rewards and buy nothing from them...once they start to not pull a profit maybe they wont try and scam people any more...it may seem like a lame attempt. i view it as scamming the scammer and getting an xbox 360/$500 out of it.

to get 1 credit i did the true.com offer wich doesnt cost a thing, and is immediately cancellable. that counts for 0.7 credits.
then i did some other one that gave 0.3 credits where i spent like $5 on some CD cases. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT. i have seen some that say on the bottom "if we are not notified that you do not want any more offers then we'll bill you $50 a month till we are told to stop"
make sure to stay away from those and you'll have your 1 credit no problem.
i actually got my 1 credit on accident before i found out that the referrals were what i needed.

well damn it also appears that all the people you reffer must get 1 credit, wich means they need to at least spend like $5, sounds fun. no idea how i missed that...

ok. i have found a way to get people their 1 credit for free.
signing up for, and then cancelling the free trial for True.com, and for efax plus...
once you have done this 12 times with diferent e-mail adresses then its yours.........i actually just did it myself to see if it worked with a false referral e-mail adress...its rather tedious but worth it for the reward in my opinion.
