Id rather not get interupted like I did on Mordred, although Mordred rocked, while I pve.
Gah, every time I mention or think of Mordred I have daoc pvp withdrawls. I think when I finish building my computer ill have to reactivate my account.
Thats the whole fun of it tho. Need a bit of a challenge when out doing PvE. See some twit and you can either run over him or get run over.
Grats on the Key. We have a few people that have completed the key for her also, tho it will prolly be awhile before we take her on.

I have wished I could kill people as they are in my grinding area's heh.
But battlegrounds wil be worth it, hope they come out before I hit 60, so I have something to keep my occupied as I level, atm I have to take a few day break between every cupple levels.

So on a PvE server, you go into enemy turf and no one can do anything to either team unless they type /pvp ? What about contested territories? Are those still normal pvp-anything? What the f**k? Who would play another PvE game

People who don't enjoy gangs of retards killing them everytime they see them just 'because'? *shrug* PVP is ok but its not the end-all of gaming.

i enjoyed Daoc's rvr,. untill they added realm ranks
and it turned from fun to grinding

I agree PvP isn't the end-all, but the last time I got a chest-thumping moment of excitement in EQ was my bard epic. Before that, only on Rallos Zek.
I'd rather not XP in places I know I'll kill, level up, and win the prize without chaos. I really enjoy having to stay alert in the game.
Maybe that'll change as I level up in WoW but I doubt it.

brd and brs make u stay alert, the first few times through. After that you just wanna get a few groups of ppl and plow everything for loot.

agree.
and I guarnatee for a fact that a majority of the little kiddies are on the PvP servers.
consentual PvP is the only way i'll play a game with PvP becaues it gives you the option of doing so, also the battlegrounds is going on every server so you can go there and pvp all you want w/o the little retards gimping you.

at 60 you spend the majority of your time in instances anyway so its not like it matters even on pvp servers.. regardless of your server if you dont wanna pvp you can generally avoid it.

Still funny as shit to watch someone try and gank you only to get their asses handed to them then run off and call for more reinforcements because they alone couldnt get the job done. Had it happen last night, 60 priest got his a*s handed to him then he went and called his friends in. Guess my rogue friend scared his a*s pretty good with a 1900 + crit eviscerate.

I meant PvP, not RvR hehe.
Actually RvR will be alot better come when they add instanced/merged rvring.
Finding warriors on our server is a bit of a b***h, so it's gonna be a while before I can even get the lower BRS quest done to unlock the rend quest which then leads to the upper brs collect to the dragons to the general's blood
Right now I'm 60 and farming gold for my epic mount and it's going VERY slowly because I keep buying arrows and go through them so quickly w/ my bow of crazy speed. That + roasted quail = expensive.

Dude at 45 I am making *at least* 4 greens per run. In about 20 runs, ive gotten 4 blues. Most of the time I get 6 greens.
This is doing SM, someone suggested it, so I did it, and I am making so much money. Like 50g at least bringing back enough greens to fill a backpack, 14 slot, and a 12 slot. Selling them at prices of way lower than they go for, means pretty much instant sales. Some times ill get lucky and get a ring or necklace or something thats really good, and sell it for like 5g or so, increasing what I get.
I would sell them for more, if I didn't get a bub of xp per like 2 or 3 runs, becasue I am getting like 2k+ xp from the undead dude.
Not sure how much money you get, but 50g every hour or so, is nice.
Disclaimer: This is best for rogues, since we can lockpick the chests, which usualy hold blues if they are going to drop. Also stealth/sap rox.
