AO really wasn't that bad. It's a damn shame they screwed up so bad in the beginning. I hate being able to see stuff before it happens; it's so painful to watch it play out. They followed the classic pattern: nicer than nice in the beginning, increasingly defensive as people complained about the bugs, couldn't understand why people didn't concentrate on how good the parts that worked were as opposed to the stuff that didn't work, finally decided to become hard asses and lay the smack down, closed the message boards, stopped listening to feedback, and everyone left. By the time it was sort of working, there was nobody left who cared.

Zelda was good at one time.........like NES and SNES days ONLY.

SB will need to do a lot to get players from other online games...
Not cause its new sthat it will bring new players...
The current online market got a limited number of players and the only way for SB to work is by "stealing" players from the other current games.
The only other inc game that might push people to try online games is SWG.
So sadly I dont think that SB will have a big impact...not even close to DAoC.
Time will tell...

Yes Dynasty Warriors is very fun - mindless hack and slash games do it everytime. You think Dynasty Warriors looks better then it did when the original came out years ago? Hardly at best and comparing an online game graphically to linear console game also makes little sense.

And Fin if they would use recent graphics engine you would require a very very recent computer and that would make them loose a very good part of the market cause not many people would buy a new computer for a game.
Also the better the graphics and shit the harder the work, the worse the lag get. etc...etc...
Little diff between as single player game , a 32-64 online game and a game that can hold thousands of players.
Look at planet side, the graphics are good for the vehicules/toons etc..et.c.but look at the landscapes they are normal to me nothing to j**k about and its not what I look for in a game.

Shadowbane was an excelent concept crushed by sloppy design, bland visuals, and a horrible, albeit customizable, GUI.
