This is a question for all you former SWG vets, the ones who had left the game after the "disagreements" with SOE and the direction in which they were taking the game. The question is: Would you be willing to buy a potential sequel (SWG 2) if the same company (SOE) makes and sells it? Please elaborate.

No. SOE have proven to be largely unimaginative in game world design and terribly unresponsive to fan input. Change the publisher and the name of the game, and I'd buy it if for no other reason but to play Star Wars.

Yea, back before the Combat Update it was fun. I had a jedi back then and loved many aspects. I've thought about going back and seeing what's new...

i would try swg 2 no matter who made it. i never had nearly the same fun playing wow then i did with swg when it was at its peak. the swg players and community were just so much fun to be around, its something wow has never done. the forum fights and in game shit talk to each other, all just really fun times.

i'v played the game since launch, have quit at every revamp for months, had jedi stolen from me, and have had my forum acct banned for inappropriate conduct almost 50x...
SWG2... why not

So I suppose you've heard of the KOTOR MMO?
I, for one, would not mind SWG 2 as long as they didn't ruin it, patch after patch after patch.

The only way I will ever play another SOE game again is if they send me a check for the $15 a month over a period of 2 & 1/2 years + another $1k for my time and character value lost.

If SOE had any sort of Involvement with SWG2 Then i will not touch it with a 800 foot pole. SOE needs to burn
