Yeah, that movie was f*****g horrible, I saw it on video because my friends were like "OMG GREAT MOVIE", but the s****y cameras made me nauseous, the storyline sucked, and the climax was like a firecracker that somebody p****d on.

i think the thing that got people on Blair Witch was that a LOT of them thought it was real footage and not a movie. People were genuinely freaked out, nothing a known "movie" would do, and thats why it took off. Also why blair witch 2 did a lot worse in theatres

I watched blair witch 1 with the idea that, "Hey. This is real." That made it extremely scary.
I notice none of you are up to the challenge of bashing Domino Harvey.

i thought the exact same thing when watching the trailer for domino
as for the blair witch trials... i never saw the second one, but i went into the first one and made myself think of it as real footage from the start so i could get into it and get my $5.50 worth out of the damn thing. it ended up being worth it.

Aye I saw it when it was still an independent film back when the few people who knew about were fully under the impression it was real. We didnt know it was fake till about 2 months after.
