I want to play MMORPG, and I have heard that World of Warcraft killed other games. I know that WoW is one of the first MMORPG to come out. In addition, I know there are many active players and I know what I will have fun playing it. Is that rumor about killing other games true? Will I have fun if I play WoW? I just need simple answers to my question.

It is very difficult for someone to tell you how one game could kill any other. World of Warcraft is fantastic game and I play it for a long time. I can say you that you will have much fun time if you choose to play WoW. Of course, someone else would recommend you to play some other MMORPG. I am a veteran WoW player, and I can say only the best things about it. You can imagine that there are millions of players who have their own opinion. So, you can try several of MMO games, and try to find one that is good for you. Moreover, I will always recommend World of Warcraft.

WoW didn't kill anything. It set the standard for MMOs. Some people will argue how it stopped all the MMO creators from getting into the market and thus hurting the gamers. The reality is that people are going to play the game that is the most fun. If a truly wonderful game hits the market, people will go there and STAY there. Any game developer complaining that WoW has made new MMO development impossible is simply not capable to make one good enough to compete so they say WoW ruined everything to cover their inabilities.
