I am playing World of Warcraft, and my friend has told me it is a loot based game. I found something that loot is a special system, for a group of players. What is the good thing about that? Has it bad sides to it? I want to play this game efficiently, but I think that this looting system will degrade my character. Can I just play the game?

World of Warcraft is just great game. You can take either good or bad side, and take part in the largest combat on the PC’s. WoW is one of the best online games, so you are playing with other player all over the world. I have never heard about that group looting system, but it sound great. From the name, it sounds like you take part in some big looting action. The things your clan steals, are divided between the players in clan.

I basicly think that there are so many aspects to this game that u can't just define it with one deifinition.

It is a mostly loot based game, but, you can get some fairly decent gear from quests and random greens/blues dropping. Running instances are fun, and even if you don't win the roll on an item that would be a big upgrade for you, you still get xp and can always come back and try again =]

It is oot based game, since loot is so easy to get, its also "noob friendly game" imo. And once you play it for some time you get hooked on purples, but thanks to blizzard you will get so many purples that you will start to hate game and get hooked on other game

There are tons of aspects to this game. It has lots of pve and pvp. Both of those are centered around acquiring new loot though.

Blizzard gave everyone so much loot that it doesn't matter anymore. With the least bit of effort you get full epics.
It's not a loot based game, it's a welfare based game.
