Sky was dark above the Ruthlan on the edge of the Swamps of Despair. Not because sunset was near.

In the Naug’Ur, there was no sunset, or sunrise. This was land covered with constant darkness.

Three figures were looking for something in the field near the swamp. Field was covered with dead bodies of giants, killed in recent battle.

One of them, a silent man was walking among the gigantic corpses, like he’s looking for something. He reclined on one arrow, stabbed in the leather armor in the back of one of the giants.

His thoughts were driven away, when one tiny voice came out from the pile of bodies on the north.

“Tobiiin!”
Tobin looked to the voice. His hand slid toward sword, when the head of a girl with fluffy red hair, covered with giant helmet, popped in from the pile.

“How do I look Tobin?”

“Oh... Akin. How many times I said, don’t fool around.” Tobin’s voice was quiet, but still austere.

“Do I look like a truuueee giant?” Akin made grimaces and chuckled. She tried to fix the helmet, but it kept fall on her face, so only her chin was visible.

“I said we should leave her tied on that tree in Cerbeloni”, said one cranky voice behind Akin.

She looked below where Gurd the Dwarf was standing.

“Nothing but a trouble, tell ya.” Gurd continued with his grumbling and could not see Akin how lolled out on him behind his back.

“We should all be quiet.” Tobin repeated. “Something’s here, besides these dead giants’ bodies.”

Those sinister words calmed Akin down. She pulled helmet down on her face, so she looked silly, like human lollipop.

Tobin and Gurd continued to search piles, when Akin shouted again: “Tobin... Oh Tooobiiin.”

Tobin turned again: “Girl, I said...” He saw her wide opened eyes under the big helmet and her finger pointed to one of the piles.

“There... Something is there...”
