if you want to define your lower abs you need to work you oblets (not sure how its spelled) you can do so by standing up with feet shoulder with and hold a free weight in one hand. put you opposite arm behind your head and lean to the side with the weight. Will work you lower sides which will define your abs.

abs are for the most part obtained by a low body fat percentage
go on a really clean diet, about 400 calories below maintenance. youll have a six pack once your in the 10% bodyfat and lower range

staying away from unhealthy foods is the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life. I was doing great for about 1-2 months, then I caved. Thank god I have a decent metabolism, but the abs I almost had are barely visible now :/ Cardio is one of the #1 ways to get good abs and I hate cardio, isn't life a b***h?

prone crunches will do the trick and do it fast. I do 3 prone crunches held for 30 seconds a piece and then 3 sets of 25 reps of crunches every other day. You do need to work your oblique's as well in order to get the whole six pack look though.

crunches are the devil but best for abs-- prone and raise torso for upper abs and stiff or bent leg lifts for lower.... feel the pain

wow has it been a month now? It seems every month at least once this topic comes up.
You would think that after the first 6billion times someone asks this stupid question (or diet questions) people might remember what they read?
or do we have to listen to Kireol pontifficate?

don't do the side bends that were reccomended earlier, the poster is misinformed. The ideal physique has a narrow, thin waist with a defined midsection. Working your obliques with any amount of weight will just do what it does to every other muscle group - make them bigger, which is not visually appealing even with very low bodyfat %'s.
"Lower Ab" workout are kind of a myth but there are some better ways to hit them - hanging knee raises or leg raises if you are already strong. Lower abs is all about bodyfat though, the ideal excerice for them is RUNNING =p.
As far as lower chest... uhhh haha. I doubt you are at a competitive bodybuilder level, so just regular chest work is the solution. In fact I bet your upper chest is much weaker. But some great eercises for getting the nice seperation are Dips and decline flyes.

Yea running is the best way for showing the lower abs but if you don't work you obliques and your abs you may have your abs showing but they will be small and whimpy.

As said above a clean diet and good cardio is the key to getting defined abs. You can do crunches till the cows come home and not have definition.
As far as a good exercise in general. If you have no free weights I recommend Prison Burpees (I didnt name them). They are excellent exercises and require no equipment at all:

Get a life and stop looking at yourself in the mirror so damn much. 6-pack abs are the least important thing in the world.

hire someone to punch you in the gut for 30 min/day
also, go into a fast food place and look at the people who come in for about 1 hour. realize it is not a coincedence
