well i'm not a liberal but i'll take a shot:
mean = Extremely unpleasant or disagreeable: "Kbarr is a mean person"
Something = An undetermined or unspecified thing: "Kbarr continues to try to make something out of his life through attacking people on a message board"

if you consider youself a moderate you would be likeing bush more than Kerry considering Kerry is like the most liberal democrat in Washington and Bush is about the middle of the Right side so if your moderate in theory you would be more for Bush.

just coming across that way i guess lately
it probably has to do with the hyper conservative views expressed daily on these boards - and the labels being tossed around by those same folks.
i guess when something goes over the top to one side and you have an opposing view, you might tend to over the top your response occasionally

You forgot to ask for the defination of words. Liberals would probally have trouble with that since what any normal person would call a word a liberal dummy might call a lesser part of a sentance which can't be taken out of context from the rest of the sentance or the paragraph it's also a part of.
