he wasn't eyeing meadow. He was jealous because tony soprano actually has a daughter... that's why he was asking meadow about his daughters grades, etc. That is also the reason for the scene with his kids and stealing the medals and why he took the job for Franki Valli.

He was jealous of Tony and all the money Tony has. He called himself a slave and was p****d that he had to do everything for Tony and Carm at the party. At one point he said "I wish I had all that money" or something like that. Then he saw Tony with Meadow and started to get jealous of how he had a daughter that got good grades and actually stayed with him (as opposed to his (Steve Buscemi's) daughter who left him).
Once Tony B (Steve) saw that his kids stole the medals and said to him 'I don't wanna live here anymore Anthony Junior has everything he wants,' he realized that he wanted to live like Tony Soprano. That's when he made the call to kill the guy and collect the money.

Deadwood is by far the best show on HBO now. Sopranos is still good, but the characters on Deadwood are just awesome.

i only started watching the sopranos this season... and deadwood since the begining... both bad ass shows... i love the dialogue in deadwood =p

they explained that in the same conversation they explained him being a bad ass =p...
he was f*****g with bullock to earn more stripes on his horse... he could have pwned him long range like he did the horse... but he got up in his shit.. and just started dancing and taunting him... then bullock bashed his f*****g skull in =p
basically like talking shit before you kill somone in pvp... and then you get owned... thats what happened to the poor indian... his mouth was writing checks that his ass couldnt cash

Yeah, I figured he was counting coup or they wouldn't have mentioned it. It just seemed like he wasn't very good at it, since he gave Bullock so many chances - I wouldn't have thought someone who was so successful would take so many chances. I thought when Bullock's hands were in the dirt he was going to throw dirt in the Indian's eyes; at least it wasn't that cliche.
EB makes me laugh more and more, especially when he gets abused and then goes off muttering bitterly to himself And Calamity Jane also cracks me up, rocking back and forth on her feet and bellowing about being "f****n' drunk and so forth".

And EB and Al are the best characters in that show. I love Al. I can't make up my mind as to whether he's a bad guy or just been through so much shit he just doesn't care any more.
