rogue rankings are sorta retarded, i bet i do more dps than every single person ranked in front of me =/.. it ranks based on retarded shit. and it takes buffs into account which is dumb.
I only trust the guild rankings to give anywhere near a decent sense of placement.

Timarak is hitting insane DPS figures, so much that I think he's busting the DPS calculator mod more than actually doing that DPS

I have no idea. I know as a 58 druid I get lucky to hit 80DPS if i go all out nuking on a mob (which leaves me OOM and nearly dead if I'm solo), and in an instance i'm the healer so my dps hovers around.. 10!

i avg about 250 w/ spikes to 300 as a 57 warlock, this is w/ 1 mob in camp though, so um 3 in camp would prob get me up to 600, but usually 3mobs arent tanked well enough at once for me to unload dps like that.

I've hit maybe 1500dps once as a 58 rogue, and that was farming trash outside stratholme with ambush SS and evis all being crits right in a row (3/3 imp ambush and 5/5 seal fate) I can't figure out how he did that. .

1997 highest crit so far, 54 elite in BRD
1054 highest average in a solo fight, level 59 in Eastern Plaguelands
Normally only average around 550 dps in most fights.

That is absolutely rediculous. My highest crit is about 50 less then that now, but I've never gotten anywhere near that burst dps. Definate /clap right there.

we have alts and shit in guild now, we actually are exactly even in terms of numbers of lvl 60s atm accordin to rankings.
Looking at timaraks gear i would say he is full of shit with his dps calcs. 2k with a f*****g thrash blade is simple not possible, maybe for like 2 seconds but thats not sustainable dps. with deathstriker mainhand and BS talents you are lookin at maybe 400-500 sustainable dps... baring use of the seal fate bug which imo doesnt count cause its bugged as shit. When i talk about DPS i dont mean what you can do at f*****g full burn but how well you can keep it up over the course of 6 mobs one after the other, like a normal pull in an instance.
seal fate is adding more combo points than its suposed to atm, i think like its adding 3 or 4 instead of 1.

Reread his post, he said he BURST 2k dps, his longest sustained dps on a mob was 1k (thats a regular mob not elite so it dies fast) and his avg on most normal mobs is around 500, Reading > you

BTW backstab talents suck ass compared to high dps sword with big dmg. I doubt I could come close to the same dps with Deathstriker.
Sinister Strike is instant damage based on the damage modifier of weapon. I find big weapon damage = high dps when you use SS and eviscerate all the time.
Wish I had screenshots of peak DPS but they go by faster than I can hit print screen button. =/
