I sat down for 3 hours (i know) with a friend and we couldnt figure it out, she was alli and i was horde. We figured out a few words and phrases but not a template as such

There used to be an addon called bable fish or something to the effect... then blizzard caught on to this and made the encryption a smidgen more intelligent

There are packet sniffers that are undetected. Download Innerspace from www.lavishsoft.com and find some in the Innerspace forums... think i saw some there a while ago.

I remember back in the early days of WoW my friend was telling me that undead could speak orcish and common, or something like that, since they were humans. Needless to say, that didn't last long.

Lol, I've never had anyone talk to me that was part of the other faction. This is interesting though... hopefully Blizzard will wise up and release something in the future to allow cross-faction conversations. Kinda silly its not in the game IMHO.

sometimes Ill put my horde and alliance character side by side and say things to see what they come out as.
[horde]414 414 = Zug Zug
and I can't remember the other ones off the top of my head, Ill have to look for that peice of paper!

Hummm, Nah i dont think there is a such thing as a wow translator because wow throws any random things in for any frases or lines in the game they dont actually have a diffrent language i dont think -.-
