considering almost noone here is in EQ2 beta yet, I'm sure it would be pretty difficult to tell aside from the EQ2 fanboys who can see no wrong in an unfinished/unreleased/barely tested product.

wow
just going by sony's rep and the work they have done with eq vs blizzard
granted I havent played eq2 but wow will own eq2 so hard.
the pvp described in wow will make it a better game then eq2 right there. Sorry but pve content can only go so far and mudflation of better and better items just doesnt sound fun to me. I look at eq1 now and just laugh at the ppl who still play it.
Wow seems like it will offer so much more to all kinds of players then eq2 will. In wow you can do so much and still have fun, then if you tire of that go and experience the other parts of the game. Tradeskilling isnt all that bad, even when u have to scout out and farm materials for the tradeskill. Get tired of that do some quest and kill some mobs. Get tired of that and go pvp some ppl. Wow just seems to offer a lot more of options to me so that I wont just have to do the same pve content all the time. Even on the "blue" servers pvp will still be around and allow for advancement of your char or just plain fun in killing other ppl.
Competing with other ppl in an enviroment where what u do actually matters appeals to me a lot more.
Im basing my decision on what sony has turned eq into. I don't know what blizzard will do w/ wow after months/years of its release but just by looking at d2 its easy to see that blizzard wont f**k over their customers.

Got into EQ2 beta today, and first thing I thought was.. "wow, this seems a lot like WoW's interface/movement."
Need to play around with it more later tho.
