Looks great.
It's interesting that some of the textures have gloss/bump maps, judging from the screenshots I was under the impression they wouldn't.
I'd have liked it more if the guy had included some footage of combat rather than just running around and showing the landscapes off :/

Since the guy seems to be choosing his mount at will, and directing it on where to fly, I'm guessing its from the cracked alpha.

Combat isn't possible in the leaked version, since all combat is server side. This also explain why the air travel mounts like the griffons look f****d up and keep falling immediately to the floor, why he can change mounts at will, and why no matter how far he falls, he doesn't take any damage. Also, the complete lack of mobs makes combat difficult.

Just WoW. Doubt EQ2 will be any good. Plus, the trends SOE has been taking toward expansions and obvious greed is really inexcusable. Yes they are a business and yes their primary concern is making money... but so is Wendy's, and Wendy's doesn't charge you for spoons. s****y analogy but oh well. Same here Tam. When it comes to my gaming future, I am only allowing myself two options:
1) Keep playing EQ
2) Find a more productive, less time consuming hobby that doesn't involve my computer.
So far I'm going with option 1.
Last thing I want to do is fall into another 40 hour a week game for 5 years. I will be very suprised if WoW has that kind of appeal or staying power, but regardless, I'm not going to play another EQ-like game.
