My buddy's alt is a chick, and I never understood it. I feel uncomfortable playing a female, unless that female is a huge, disgusting race like an EQ Troll/Ogre.

All my WoW toons are male but I started an alt Enchanter in DAoC that was female. Just something about raping endless albs with a female toon hah. For the ones that didn't know I was male it had to have burned there asses.
My next alt in WoW prolly be a female troll shaman because they simply are own looking!

my character is named Ritz female human pally w00t, as for why, cuz i felt like it and the guys look gay /shrug, in diablo 2 you couldnt even make a sorc or amazon without being a chic. this isnt eq =p

Its like 70% of all characters are female chars. I think its pretty gay personally, I had a friend i used to play EQ with that always played a fem char but he had a really good reason.
In EQ tho, people played chicks in the beginning because chicks got treated way differently back then. in WoW i think they are just stupid kids who play chicks.... I could really give a f**k less personally cuz online relationships are the gay, i just think its pretty homosexual and all.

it is true most do it for the free gear.
I saw this effect close up. I used to play together with celestra whom you all know on this board.
We grouped almost allways with different people and they would give her stuff, buff her without asking etc while i said there screaming "GIVE ME A f*****g HP BUFF YOU FUCKNUT"..
So playing a female char has a DEFINITE bonus that if you want to get shit fast it's a good idea to play one...
Sad but true, guys are pathetic hehe
