For 7 days you'll be able to play WoW, this isn't the open beta, just a stress test with 100,000 players on multiple servers. Posted here cuz i figure more people might be interested than just those who read the wow forum.

Its fun and different, but i'm still not sure it will have the addictiveness and replayability of EQ long term. Which maybe is a good thing.

If they are stress testing.. doesnt that mean content wise they are done and just need to squash some minor bugs?? which also means that WoW will be released soon?... then again this is Blizzard...
but this means that SOE will bel ike, OMGZ we need to get EQ2 out the door... lets pull antoher SWG!! ITS EQ tehy wonts knowssez!!

I liked QuakeSpy back when it was, like, 1 small tool and not 750,000 ads per logo on a s****y web page. I swear, GameSpy is the worst of the internet.

There used to be something with Quake 1 where it kept up with your total score over every server you played on. I think it was called QuakeWorld, man that was awesome.

Not a bad idea. If there were a way for me to get unattended AA's all day with my rogue and druid, I'd do it and then come back when I had like 800 aa. Who's going to stop me? A gm? Ha!
