So i read you get more experiance while questing or leveling faster, is this because you get a good exp bonus when finishing up the quest, or does the game give you more exp per kill on quest mobs?
example killing a gnoll(orwhatever) if done for just exp grind yields less exp then if you kill same gnoll but for a quest?
tnx for info

im pretty sure that you get a bunch of exp on the completion of a quest, like how you do in EQ, but eq gave you next to nothing for completing quests, cept for the tumpys tonics

Once you complete a quest your not supposed to be able to do it again.

Questing really is the major form of exp, at least til about level 15 - 20. It's kind of a problem because everyone is going after the same mobs, but once you get into the later quests, they branch off and become a lot faster to complete.
Questing really gets you to move around too. The map system + the quest system means people really have to be f*****g morons to get lost. Suffice to say a lot of people get lost.

Yeah, quests generally reward you with an item, and a nice chunk of exp, generally 500-750 for the really easy/quick ones, and 1250-2000 for "longer" ones. Some quests are pretty vague in their descriptions, but most, if you read the details, and open your eyes, you shouldn't have a problem finding the majority of quest areas.

People still get lost in eq even though they have been to the place 20 million times before.

EQ doesn't have in game quest documentation that says literally "head north-east to the cave behind cliffspring falls" and when you get close, your zone changes from darkshore to cliffspring falls. man that seems hard to find doesn't it? better yet, is when people asks where a city is, when it's on the map, I've seen this many times.
