When you log into the Main site at www.worldofwarcraft.com, there is a Link called "Download WoW". This used to contain the last build. But after today, they uploaded the Open Beta installer, and Kurel's just giving you the direct link to it. I'm downloading 90k/sec! Yea

i was going at 40, stopped and restarted was going at 2kbps...
Started a totally new download and im getting 100-125kbps now.. The old one is still getting like 2kbps. I hate this program.

You need alot of room on your HD. It is compressed so it will be like 5 gigs for install and plues the 2.5 gigs for Downlaod.

FYI, you'll need a FilePlanet subscription or Close Beta account to play during the stress test. There will be an open beta after the final stress concludes,

if you dont have a fileplanet acct dont worry about slow dl speeds cause if you werent in closed beta you wont be playing for a week ;p

Best post ever! I was getting 10-20 kb/sec, restarted the download @300 MB and started getting 0-2 kb/sec. Now with BitTornado I'm getting 30k/sec! Yay!!! Oh well, I lose the 300 MB though =/

You have to read very carefully before you start clicking into signups areas with file planet. They want you to go for the 15.95 membership, but if you catch it at the beginning and click on the bottom fileplanet basic button, you can get directed to the simple membership for $7.60 or something like that. It will get you the WoW dl.

God I been downloading since 1pm. Got 300 MB on that one. Tried Bit Tornado now i'm at 200 MB....lol hope it picks up over night....
