Oh jesus.
My anthropology prof said that the evolutionary trend is towards less teeth, early protohumans has like 4 more molars than us. So people without wisdom teeth are more evolved than most.
Why is Paden the next stage of human evolution? WHY???

The pulling itself didnt bother me, it was my dry socket that owned me. That was some serious pain...not to mention 3 weeks of bleeding from the mouth. My friends called me the "Oral Menstruator". Blood...in my mouth...every day...21 days...the suck.

Twas no big deal to me, had all 4 pulled and didn't bother with pain killers after a few hours. Additionally, Event Horizon was one of the movies I rented to watch that day... so I was in ALOT of pain.
The only thing that really bothered me was the spitting blood for awhile. That's kinda gross.

The blood spitting part actually sounds quite tasty. I don't doubt the pain though.
As for Paden's evolutionary superiority. I've always thought the human race is like a plague. This show's I was right, if we're evolving to be stupider, then we're more likely to destroy/pave over/blow up things without consideration for the repercussions of our actions.

Only reason we are moving towards such retardation is because we are stopping natural selection. People who would not survive without technology are now surviving + reproducing. We tend to fix genetic defects with technology instead of letting nature weed them out. I'm not saying we shouldn't do this, but that we are gonna pay for this in the long run.

Just do what they say so you don't get dry sockets. That is real pain.

I didn't feel the pulling at all - I was knocked out.
They gave me a valium to take an hour before my appointment; and then when I got there, they inserted a needle into my arm and taped it there, and then put a mask on my face and knocked me out with gas. The last thing I remember is the doctor telling me what they were going to be doing, and I couldn't stop laughing. His last words to me were, "Having a good time, are we?"
hehe
I didn't feel anything until about 8 o clock that night. HOLY SHIT, it was the worst, dullest aching throbbing pain in my jaw. The vicodin helped.
My face was swollen for about 3 days.
All of this was the easy part, though...
The NASTY part was having to use the little water-squirter thing to clean out the empty sockets, and having to go into the doctor's office (maxillofacial surgeon, doctor... whatever), and have the nurse take the disgusting clove strips out of the sockets and replace them.
BLEAH.

If you want free drugs, get a job at a pharmacy...High School diploma and 18 years or older = 13 dollar an hour job where you can get free narc's. Yay.

do whatever they tell you to in order to not get an infected socket
one of mine got infected....was the most painful thing i've ever had to deal with...having hydrogen peroxide shot into an almost closed up socket...the gas had no place to go...felt like i had a cherry bomb in my gum...i ripped the arm off a chair.

Are the dentist in the US so bad? I had two of my wisdom teeth pulled. Didnt hurt much. Then again, i have the pain of a nerve that was removed from my front teeth to compare it to.
It was a whole new dimension of pain to me. You dont forget it.
