Ok, before I throw myself and my computer out the window... anybody know what could make a Linksys wireless card recognize the Linksys router, but not the other computer or the internet???
Was working beautifully until Sunday, then CRASH. I didn't change one damn single thing either (all settings are the same), 3 evenings I've spent now and I can't network my two comps wirelessly anymore.

I'm getting an IP as well as DNS host. Signal strength is good (too good imho, 54.0), can't ping anything though... come up with nada.
The remote computer recognizes the router, indicates everything is peachy, but can't actually use it. I reinstalled everything from scratch 3 times tonight and now I'm just spinning my wheels.
I've done some research now on the internet and it's leading me to believe there's a compatibility problem with the Linksys hardware and my operating system. Which, of course, makes sense as both Linksys and Microsoft are small independent developers.
It's actually suggested I test a non-Linksys wireless card. Excellent product you got there, fellas. Maybe I'll hang a sign tomorrow by their products at the store.... it'll cost them a little money for my time anyways.

Cool, I think we can get the ball rolling. I have one more trick up my sleeve first, though: the cordless phone!
All I'm getting is static, started this weekend... or the same time my network went kaput. I totally forgot about it as I never use it, but it seems awfully suspicious.
