Is there software out there that you can use to permanantely wipe windows clean of pretty much everything?
Yeah, the software contained on your Windows disc.
Or are you too f*****g stupid to reformat a computer without a self-explanatory walkthrough program?

OMGZ! 
One trick you can do but I doubt you would in this case is to keep the OS on a seperate partition (about 5gig). That way if stuff gets f****d up you just reformate that part and reinstall the OS with out having to worry about your other shit. You will still need to reinstall a lot of software though.
Um guys, he's not asking if you can format. I think he's capable of that. He's asking if say the NSA were to get his box would he be able to delete all his shit...and the answer is yes you can.... load linux and then use dd to zero out the partition table a couple of times and you'll be good...

Try elaborating on what you mean by this. Its understood that you don't want to reformat, but I'd have to know what you are trying to accomplish before recommending something. Is your goal to permanently erase sensitive data on your HD but leave windows intact? Are you trying to conceal the fact that a program was EVER installed on your computer? Do you just have too much crap installed and you want to 'clean out' your comp and aren't worried about sensitive data fragments left behind?
Each senario has a solution, but the method can vary substantially.
