Everytime My Computer or something to do with my cd-rom drives are accessed, Windows likes to spin up both my drives to load the f*****g icon and CD name that is associated with the CD-ROM in the drive.
That is fine, but is there anyway to make it so that windows stores that information somewhere, and it is only refreshed if there is a new or different CD-ROM in the drive?
I really f*****g hate how everytime I use windows explorer or open My Computer I have to wait 20 seconds for my drives to spin up. I know there is an option in TweakXP or TweakUI somewhere, but I can't come up with the correct google phrase to find it.
Help, please.
