2.4gb download.

I'm sure a few of you, would like to test this out also.

For you not so technical people, Don't download this thinking you're going to use it as your new upgraded operating system.

the next version of windows coming out.

it's beta and is missing 90% of the drivers if it's like how their betas were when I used to beta test for them.

all you'd get would be a sneak peak of how it looks more or less, wouldn't be able to play games n shit on it vey wll

Longhorn is the windows server platform.
Vista is the home desktop platform.

It is not longhorn.

I know it used to go by longhorn, but they made the windows server platfrm longhorn now, and vista is the desktop.

This is the desktop beta not the server, so calling it longhorn is incorrect.

Knowing it by longhorn isn't incorrect, just not up to date thinking.

If you download and install this Paden, I predict many, many "HOW DO I WORK THIS" posts from you.

no your games wont work on it.

I used to be on their actual beta team, like the one where you can download it legit off their site with your own login, then they give you a free copy when it goes live.

All the early releases like that come with minimal driver support.

That kinda makes IE look like it has tabbed browsing. That will be nice, but probably not enough to make me use it over Firefox.

On a related note, you can score MS Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 w/o paying shipping through some code off the cover of a current magazine (I forget which). They ship it overnight for free, pretty pimp.
