Anyone use or can recommend a windows explorer replacement?

Basically I'm just getting p****d off with how windows explorer can never seem to remember that I like my folders to all be LISTS and not ICONS no matter how many times or how many different ways I remind it.

I'm sure theres a fuckton out there (i found a few) and im sure a bunch of them are s****y as all hell (i found a few) .. so if anyone happens to know a good one, please by all means state it here.

I found the following 2 in CPU magazine's round up of favorite apps.

THey are both shareware, so mayperhaps with some clever googling you can rectalfy it.

Clear & Simple's DiskJockey File Viewer

Power Desk Pro 6

this mostly replaces the shell, combine this with one of frashii's ideas and you might have an interesting solution.
