What's the difference between: Windows Hosting, Linux Hosting, and CFMX Hosting? Which is the best?
Found a nice cheap host, but they let you choose which type you want... does it matter?

I'm not sure what CFMX is, but I'd stay away from anything microsoft if ever possible.

If you're going to do any PHP or MySQL you probably want a Linux host. If you want to pay someone to fix the fuckups frontpage will make for you, go with Windows!

$CFMX == cold_fusion_server();
Unless you have a need for ASP, everything else you can do on a linux boxen and you won't have to worry about random IIS exploits every 15 minutes..
