Will we ever see any good PVP duels in Final Fantasy XI? I am wondering is it any good and could it be better than PvP in other MMO games. There are several trailers I found, regarding FF XI, but I could not find anything about PvP elements. I am big fan of everything that has a Final Fantasy sticker on it, so I want to play the game. However, first I must find information about PvP.

PvP in Final Fantasy is called “Conflict”, and it has many interesting aspects to it. I read somewhere, long time ago, that there is an event that looks like a classic basketball match. I do not know if that information is true, because it sounds somewhat dumb. All of futures events will be play out in normal environment, rather than in arena-like place. The scoring system is still unknown, but it is going to be very addictive. PvP elements are always very interesting, in any game. Nevertheless, in Final Fantasy XI, PvP is going to be raised to whole another level. Many players will be pleasant surprised when they try out PvP for the first time.
