Sniping kinda sucks in BF2. Well, I mean, you can just kill alot more ppl using other kits ;p

It doesn't matter that much if other people can use the tank better than you because the difference between someone who is so-so vs someone who is pretty good isn't that large. There are plenty of support roles and secondary options for people to play effectively with less skill.
