Why does no one seem to use these abilities (warrior) ?

Revenge: Instantly counterattack an enemy for 12 to 14 damage. Revenge must follow a block, dodge or parry.
Overpower: Instantly overpower the enemy, causing weapon damage plus 5. Only useable after the target dodges. The Overpower cannot be blocked, dodged or parried.
Is it because they cost rage, or what? Seems really useful to me. I'd be watching combat a lot closer if I were a warrior and hopping on these abilities every time they popped.

I use Overpower most of the time.
The problem is that Overpower is only on a successful (sic?) dodge, and that happens fairly rarely from what I've seen so far. The 5 rage for the damage is really nice, since it can't be mitigated (besides a miss) in any way.
Revenge, well, I'd rather save the rage for another sunder or a shield block.

But even then, it's either more misses, or (sadly) I don't have the rage to spare from trying to just beat them down!
I use both alot. Cheap rage, and with revenge if you are specced protection (go me) I am up to a 40% chance of a stun, that is really nice IMO.
I think my gf is really digging WoW and I just got a free account. Maybe she'll make a war and I'll keep doing priest.

i use those abilitys when i can they are nice with low rage cost.
anyone know of a better way to get rage i need more rage when fighting a mob that is 3 lvls higher than me and i cant use charge all the time any tips?

I f*****g LOVE overpower!
I haven't played my warrior since closed beta (was level 50 when it was the cap and took a break from WoW then) and at the time the shield block/Revenge combo was slightly nerfed, but still extremely viable for soloing. Adding the stun to revenge via talents is a nice bonus as well.

Rage potions.
Make them yourself, or find a friend who can.

I CAN MAKE THEM!!!
I use Overpower a lot (I put talent points into it), Revenge is for more of a Protection specced warrior (60% chance to stun on revenge is nice).

With talents it used to have a half a second cast time, but they nerfed it because it was deemed overpowered when using a big slow 2-hander.
what lvl is rage potion at i have skinning and minning just to get some cash at lower lvl's but i am still debateing rather to do alchemy or blacksmithing any thoughts?
Blacksmithing: i can repair my own armor and make plat later in game.
Alchemy: healing and rage potions
any other thoughts on that? Im a lvl 18 war atm and i get a lvl a day at least so i will be doing tradeskills soon just dont know which ones to do.
or should i do a combo of both but without minning and herbalizim..

Rage potions you have to be 60 skill alchemy to make, and they require a world drop (sharp claw, usually in AH) to make. Otherwise, the other materials are found easily.
