I don't get it. Every redneck from here to Florida likes Bush. The lowest common demoninator of person votes for a person born with a silver spoon in his mouth?

99% of the tax breaks went to the 1% of the population that makes over $200,000 a year, yet you poor bastards want Bush.

Every opportunity he gets he makes the rich, richer, and the poor get poorer.

Anyone care to explain why the poor trash like Republicans so much even tho they don't represent you in the slightest? I figure I have a captive audience here, so I wanna know.

and kerry isn't in the richest 1%? atleast bush doesn't claim to be for higher taxes on the rich and supporting the poor and then not check the box to pay the higher state tax. poor trash republicans like their guns, and they only vote on that one issue. same reason why black people and mexicans vote demo.

and 99% of the tax breaks went to the richest 1% because it was a blanket tax break. and well since the rich do pay all the damn taxes in this country they should be the ones getting the biggest breaks. why? because they actually know where to put their money obviously if they are making so much to pay the highest taxes!

Themy,

Everyone up on that Hill makes more money than you and I. They will keep it that way. I won't argue your point there.

There's an unwritten rule you just don't cross as congressmen. And one of those lines is f*****g with their income.

Lesser of two evils my friend.

*edit* And in my own defense, Democrats are known for giving back as much as any government peeps can sleep with. Dems always open up care programs for our poor, for expample.

Republicans are set on keeping themselves rich and the poverty line FAR FAR away from them.

But the ingenius of this is the poor man likes Bush. Seems to identify with him. Guess cause he's not smart. That's the only reason I can come up with.

but, how can you argue with kerry never once paying the higher state tax. and never making even one security council meeting post 9/11?

and sure i don't make much money a year, but i know my dad makes more than most congressmen in a year :/

i do agree with points on both sides, which is why i place myself in the middle while swaying a little more to the right. in fact one of my dreams is actually creating a successful third party, i don't want to be president or anything i just want a 3rd party that actually encompasses what the people of the U.S. embody. and i would want to name it the Washingtonian party ^.^ since he was in the middle back in the day haha.

They all do that bro. Every single last person in the Senate.

Lesser of two evils. Kerry hasn't started a war with another country based on information he knew to be false.

He hasn't sent any of my friends and family members off to possibly die.

He's actually been in war, and therefore, has much more authority to send poor kids off to die. At least he's experienced what war does to you.

What has Bush done?

i don't think either of them deserve office, but i like bush's fiscal policies more than kerry's (except the outsourcing part) so that is why i stick with him. i see it like this.

Bush built his platform on a flat plain and it just stays there and is immobile (this i see as a problem)

where as Kerry built his platform on water and he rows it all around trying to please the most ammount of people while never sticking to one major spot. (this is also a problem)

i see this election as just what people believe is the lesser of two evils aswell and i think most americans see it as that aswell.

Makes more than congressmen's salaries, maybe. Ever wonder why people spend millions of dollars to run for a job that pays $90k? Hint: It's not altruism.

d**k Cheney ran Haliburton. Sure he still gets his share of kickbacks from it. If you know big business, you know this to be true.

The Bush family....well I could write a novel on how much they'll profit from this war. Financial and political ramifications of starting this war...oh my lord.

He just greased every big business palm from here to Saudi Arabia.

Last I noticed, Kerry won't be making any big money off of the war on ketchup.

Could it be they get paid that every year after that until they die, even if they are no longer in office? Nice retirement plan, be a Senator for one term, retire.

Sorry 99% didn't go the top 1% check your facts, it's just completely wrong. Yes Bush also exagerated but he is way closer to you who is just completely making stuff up. From Factcheck.org:

"In fact, the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center recently calculated that most of the tax cuts -- 53% to be exact -- went to the highest -earning 10% of US individuals and families. Those most affluent Americans got an average tax cut of $7,661.

And as for the "low- and middle-income Americans" Bush mentioned -- the bottom 60% of individuals and families got only 13.7% of the tax cuts, according to the Tax Policy Center, a far cry from "most" of the cuts as claimed by Bush.

The President came closer to the mark, but still got it wrong, when he said in the same breath that the top 20% of earners pay "about 80% of the taxes in America today." That's incorrect.

In fact, as we reported only that morning, the Congressional Budget Office calculates that the top 20% now pay 63.5% of the total federal tax burden, which includes income taxes, payroll taxes and other federal levies. It's true that the top 20% pays nearly 81% of all federal income taxes, but the president spoke more expansively of "taxes in America," not just income taxes."

So 50% of the poplulation are white trash huh? I thought Republicans were all greedy white people? Greedy rich white trash I guess.

I guess we are also supposed to believe that Kerry who paid a 12% income tax rate utilizing tax shelters etc (he and his wife made almost 7 million in income last year that they have disclosed so far), instead of the 36% tax bracket they are in (down from 39%) is all of a sudden going to start paying 39% now instead? He didn't even pay his fair share in the current system. By comparison the Bush's paid over 30% in Federal income taxes on an income 10 times smaller than the Kerry/Heinz's.

Gee I wonder who is really for the "rich".

I guess it's true there is a sucker born every minute.

Man people are f*****g stupid. The rich don't get all the tax cuts becuase they have a lot of money. They get them becuase the reason they have a lot of money is they know how and have been using every single possible goverment tax break allowed by the goverment. There is nothing whatsoever dishonest or unpatrioitic about it either. These are the same people that b***h about "barely legal corporate umbrellas" holy f*****g shit you people are so stupid. There is no "man" keeping you guys down, you're just f*****g douchebags. OMG I DONT HAVE MONEY GOVT NEEDS TO MAKE IT SO I DO WHILE I STAY AT HOME AND WATCH MTV.

On top of this you're worthless piece of shit ass doesn't help America at all. The "rich" making millions and millions and dollars are the ones building new business, making existing real estate better. hiring countless employees, bringing tourists to your area, donating the vast amounts to charity, and generally the ones being real US citizens. There is nothing immoral about being rich and there sure as hell isn't anything noble about being poor.

Stupid whiny have-nothing douchebags even took this argument to court before, TWICE. Both times they lost. The supreme court ruled that every man or woman may arrange there matters in any way, even if it results in them paying less overall or even zero taxes. As long as it is done legally no citizen has any obligation to pay more then the legal amount due. Unless you pay extra on your taxes to help Uncle Sam can you please eat a bowl of shut the f**k up.

facts: after 9/11 the stock market went to shit because rich ppl held all their money

therefore taxbreak/low interest rate = stimulating people to spend money

since the rich put more money into stocks and mutual funds they should be getting the biggest break since the poor people will just go out and buy drugs and get shit faced anyways =O if the poor ppl got all their money back the fast food stocks would be up and that's about it =/ but since people who actually know how to invest the stock market is back on track.

question: can someone please explain to me why the democrats always blame bush for job loss when it was a direct result of the terrorists that we lost jobs and went into a slight recession? can a democrat explain to me why there is a report coming out or rather was supposed to be out today showing the climbing figures of job increases that now parallels the 90's boom??
