Don't worry, this isn't going to be a "WoW pwnz GW" flame bait or anything… I'm just curious as to what it as that originally attracted you to Guild Wars. Why did you choose it in the first place, and not one of the other MMO RPGs out there? What sets GW apart, in your opinion?

Well, I'm pretty sure most of us tried more than one online RPG before settling for GW … in fact, I'm not even sure how many people are exclusively GW. I know for a fact that I occasionally play other online games as well. I'm just a sucker for heroic fantasy, and will give any game that looks like it handles the genre satisfactorily a chance.
BTW, the official GW blurbs and FAQ list some of the differences that set it apart from its peers, but I'm not going to regurgitate that here…

Also fact that GW is free, unlike most of other MMORPGs, is something that attracts players to play it.
