Why do you like Dwarves in Warhammer?

Iâ€™ve been reading about Warhammer a lot lately and it seems that a lot of the people will be choosing dwarfs for their character. Itâ€™s not that I donâ€™t like the dwarfs but I donâ€™t get why these people are so into dwarfs. It seems to me that people who choose other races are not that obsessed with their character and are not acting/writing as if they were really dwarfs. Could anyone explain to me why he likes dwarfs that much?

I am always playing dwarfs but I donâ€™t think that Iâ€™m obsessed by them. The thing is that somehow, since I was a kid, I perceived dwarfs as grumpy but good and kind-hearted people and I somehow like that combination. I see them as people who are loyal and ready to sacrifice their life for others while I perceive people as more selfish and elves are justâ€¦too gay.
