Most console games dont need patches to work correctly.

That pretty much sums up my view. Fighting games just dont seem right to me on a pc. Same way i feel w/ fps on a console.

I play a pretty equal mix of both. I played Quake and EverQuest on my PC, and left most other gaming to my console. N64(for like a month when I was playing through mario 64) and psx, and now ps2.
Another thing I like, is my TV and console are right next to my PC. It's nice to be able to play an rpg game and chat on aim/irc at the same time. If I were to play it on a PC, I would either have to play in a window or constantly alt tab if I wanted to talk on AIM at the same time. That sucks.
Also, console games that get ported to PC usually have s****y control, even if you play through a gamepad.

You know how shity shity shity TV out looks? Also not all things will support fullscreen mode with a TV out thinggy...
