It's not an official survey or anything, I'm just curious to hear what it was that got other people into GW. For me, it was the first MMO that I ever played and the only one that held my attention for more than a couple of days. How about you? Did you switch from something else to GW, or what? Are you one of the many WoW PvP-hungry converts?

Well, yes and no. I was kind of giving up on WoW at the time, but not because of crappy PvP options. I was just bored, I guess. Originally, GW was kist something to pass the time, but eventually it drew me in more and more, and I became a regular.

I started playing guild wars with my best friend, mostly because it had no monthly fees, and then you find out its a really good game, and don't stop playing.

I fell in love with it when one of my buddies let me use his Beta Weekend account one time. Played pretty hardcore after release and my guild made it to rank 23
