I dont want to know if it suck I want to know who WILL play it and give it a try?

I might play a Templar Undead slayer.

NO CHOICE SINCE PLANET SIDE IS DELAYED!!!!!!!

Would be more expensive to buy both PoP and LoY, and play EQ and...so boring...

I'm just going to wait for Planetside, I figured it wouldn't be out till May sometime, which is why I delayed buying my new PC till early May (ought to save a few hundred $ that way)...

Im so torn on this issue. I want something better than EQ, and this seems like it could be. Especially pvp, which i am looking forward to a lot. But on the other hand i am a poor college student and i don't want to waste how much ever it will cost on a game that has a potential to suck major a*s. I WANT to try it out right away, but i may see if some friends get it and see what they think about it.

SB isn't visually appealing? Heh. I just watched the fileplanet exclusive video of Planetside beta and it looks like it was developed with the Quake 2 engine.

To me in 1200x what ever with 32bit color the graphics look like diablo 1 or 2 i have a 3ghz system 1gb ram with 128mb geforece 4 ti 4600. with everything on i laged hardcore could barley move had to tone everything down low and even then it sucked. s****y game 4 years to late.

I just logged into SB beta and let me say I'm NOT impressed. Graphics were ok but feel outdated. You can't walk with the keyboard, you have to use the mouse and point to each location you want your guy to walk to, it's 3rd person with no option for 1st. I didn't play for very long and didn't get to really see much, but for the 15 minutes I fiddled around I was glad to log off. The game will crash and burn... I'd be willing to bet the farm. Confused

SB is better now.. tonight last night of beta featured prolly a 200 - 350 person battle that was uber leet.. lag wasnt that that bad but considering those numbers would crash every single other mmo on the market in one place at one time i give them props.

Relic raids in DAoC have upwards of 500 people in them.

Although I'll admit, most computers would chug like a freight train trying to run it.

ya but relic raids in daoc are like pointless atleast when you burn someones city you know you just wasted 2-3 weeks of there time =)

I have a shit computer pretty much p3 1ghz 512 rdram and I was atleast playable in it and my number estimate might be lowish. Anway was just sayin if you havent played in a few months a ton has changed for the better and its a really decent pretty stable game now.

You obviously haven't played daoc or followed changes in it in a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very long time
