Heh, REAL old school but.. when lev was a 'fly' and you could just cast on shit from outside their reach. Was like, early beta 2 hehe.
-Ras
Oh and the pixies n shit in lesser Fay when standing on the pillars. Of course, old school pathing sploits in CT. They were all over that zone. The most famous were the zig/4c area but lesser known were in the sewers.

The wall in Highpass Keep where you could nuke guards from.. Or the spot in Ak'annon palace. Or the charm corpse dupe trick.. There was lots of exploitable shit back in the day..

Behind the cauldron in Lower Guk, in the room with the mob who dropped the BE BP, crap forgot his name. Couldn't get hit there, either.

There's a dozen really good spots left in Guk where you can't get hit.

in Najena you could get into little cubbies on the wall and safely nuke mobs - that gnome necro Xanikin used to exploit there all the time
Muert and his crew exploited the Guk firepot one forever
the one Ulthane showed me in the Frenzy room - standing way up top on the pillars and nuking/doting the 3 mobs from safety, then going down to loot your FBSS
nuking spectres bugged through walls in the spec caves in Feerrott before they fixed it
Eakin, Halo, Zezal and the others who hit 50 first exploiting to stick spectres in trees
sticking the Ice Giants outside Perma on the gates and killing them safely
standing on the bridge in Beholder's to nuke minos in safety (just before the evil eye area)
there were a shitload of spots you could exploit fear pathing so the mobs ran in place or into a wall and you didt have to chase or even snare them
soo many old exploits

There is a spot in Howling stones South Wing where if you pull a mob and run to the spot the mob completely stops moving until you leave the spot or nuke it iirc.
Osargen in High Keep has pathing that can be exploited. If you run to a certain spot he'll turn around and take the warp way to get to you, but if you step forward again right before he gets there he starts walking back to you.

I remember kiting millers with my druid and running into the corner in QH to make them run away.
Oh ya, and when you dueled someone and feared them, anyone could hit them. Made for interesting times in EC

Pathing still blows in HS Silvermouse. Even when you zone in you should never, ever die. If you ever get low health just path them around the board where the platform drops off and you can just make them run back and forth on the same wlal.

Its not an old one, but I remember seeing people exploiting the zone in icewell where you could nuke/dot the coldain while they would stand there.
Think I looted frosted gaunts from a caster soloing guards there.
