I do. I rolled a priest right off the bat and leveled it up to 70 as Holy/disc. Then I rolled a rogue and played up to level 20, but hated it. Then I rolled a warrior and got up to level 15, hated it. Then I rolled a Shaman and played up to level 25 as Elemental, but then switched to Restoration because I missed healing 5-mans. Then got my shaman up to level 70 and all the guilds were flirting with me because there's a shortage of Resto Shamans. It became my main and is now 5/8 T6. Healing seems to be more challenging than DPS, maybe more so than tanking, but probably comparable. Healing as a PRIEST is definately the most challenging class to play bar none (imo). I liked healing on my priest (23/38/0) the most.
People say it's a thankless job... It is if you suck at it I suppose, but I never got anything but compliments on my healing. Pick a DPS class if you want to watch TV and spam 11111 until your helm drops. =P

I dont particularly like it for the most part.
Most fights it's just as boring as DPS'ing. People call it playing whack-a-mole for a reason.
Then there are fights where it's all up to the healers, but even those become boring eventually. I'll say that i'm glad i'm not a healer on some of those fights though.
In the end it's still a thankless job. When the tank goes down it's "healers wtf was that?"
When raid members die it's "healers wtf were you doing?"
When the boss dies it's "man look at this uber crit for 385738527895 i just got on him!!!!111oneone"
All in all i'd say each job is more or less the same amount of fun, but depending on your personality you'll prefer to do one or the other. I've had my share at all three and each has its own benefits, and you usually people with the same kind of attitude doing the same jobs.

I like healing as well. Espescially with the new spirit changes. Priests and Druids are amazing right now. Hot and regen like crazy.

I like healing more then dpsing in a raid, because noone cares about dpsers it seems, they always blame the healers.

I enjoy healing quite a bit, but I mostly PvP. I enjoy it less in PvE situations unless the fight actually involves some movement and careful placement.

My first toon was a resto shaman and to be honest it kicks ass. Its fun to play
it takes forever to kill me and i take alot of enjoyment in keeping the raid up.

I always found pvp healing very satisfying and definitely one of the harder pvp classes in the high end.

I rolled a Druid and was inclined towards feral. I did my job at 110% all the time and was clearly the best Druid in my guild, though feral was great i wanted a challenge and started collecting healing gear through Kara while tanking. Eventually turned 0/0/61 (i dont see the need for natures grasp at that point of PvE). Managed to gain high MP5 gear to sustain mana, my Lifebloom basically cost 3 mana if cast every 5 seconds at that point. It was epic gear yes, but i was still in Kara, Grull and starting SSC.
I topped the healing meters purely because i knew my class and used addons to simplify and speed up my reactions to healing. The addon was click2cast, which made you be able to bind mouse buttons to spells when you click on a raid member's frame. It was quite amazing at the speed i was able to throw lifebloom's, rejuv's and regrowth's onto the MT and almost entire raid. We didnt have many priests and had a few druids, so i was usually allowed to innervate myself so i never needed a pot unless i wanted to completely dominate the healing meters by a large %.
All in all i think healing is an integral part of WoW, as is DPS & tanking and each role will appeal to certain players. I have performed all three on a serious level and they all have their pros and cons, but im leaned towards healing, which doesnt mean its the most fun, its just what i enjoyed playing most (druid healing is alot different than any other kind of healing, i levelled a 70 BE pala and hated healing because it was so damn easy).
It's been said before, play what YOU think is fun, not what other people tell you is, you will enjoy the game alot more doing it your own way.

Healing is the most complex thing in the game, theres such a large room for improvement from when you first start to when you've been playing for a bit it is amazing. Figuring out the best way to keep a tank up for the least amount of mana is vastly underrated as a key part to end game encounters.

I enjoyed a healing on my druid a lot. The most interesting things to me are the min/maxing and setting the timing out for all the HoTs to make them the most effiecient and also having several tools to save tanks from spikes and being on point with those and other cool downs is challenging at times.

I hate healing, ask my level 54 priest I never play. Its just so boring clicking on a guy and clicking a heal. Half the time they dont even thank you they just say heal faster or something. Not my idea of fun.

Healing is great for a bit. THen switching to shadow or enhancement (depdn on class) makes it a bit more fun when you go back.

I'd love to heal but I've never got a priest above level 10. I've experienced it on my friend's druid and it was awesome!

there is a downside, you always get blamed for everything unless it was obvious like moving in a flame wreath and you job is important as hell

Yeah I know right? >< I once had the tank DC and the group still blamed me for the wipe. Even if you play well it doesn't mean you won;t get blamed for stuff.

Its a tough job, with little thanks, and numerous "Healers f****d up" I found it challenging for about 6 months, then started to miss the big number a used to get on my lock.

I wouldn't recommend choosing a healer as your first character. Many people find healing to be a lot more difficult than dpsing and often get discouraged if they aren't doing a really great job. Start with a dps class, warlock is easiest, and then roll a healer your second time around.

I love healing because it makes Arena games rely more on you than the other players in most situations. However, over time it gets old :[
Thats what alts are for :]

I believe healing is the easiest thing to do I use to main tank for my guild and rolled a healing shaman and i loved the ease in it, you have time to mess up unlike tanking
