All of my comics are from the late '70s to mid '80s. Mostly Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Transformers, and then Thor was the only 'superhero' I really got into. I'm 27.

I don't collect per se, but I've got tons of digital scans of comics. I'd rather read than collect them. Mostly Image / Marvel stuff, Spawn, Punisher and the Marvel Ultimate universe, am 21.

They might be right. Sad I was reading industry CoinOp magazines in from about 93 to 99 and, boy, was that depressing. All these arcade owners talking about the glory days of Pac-Man and how games like Sega Super Shitcross cost $20,000 per machine. How are you going to pay back $20k when your machine makes $83 a week with an expected lifespan of 1 year?

The card game is a little after my time, I played D&D in the army, still have the old books.

Most of the comics i collected back in the late 70s, some from the late 80s, and a few top end ones in the 90s.

I have over 22 #1 Iron Man all at least vf/nm, 11 are slabbed CGC 9.2 or better. I have one 9.6 #1. I have about 200 IM comics from #2 through #15, the last 12 cent Iron man. All nm or better. I have one of the 2 highest graded ever IM #6, at 9.6.

Someday I will sell and use the money for a different toy. Maybe a bike.....who knows.

BAM! Kbarr and I have something in common. IM #6 I don't have, though. I have 5 and 7.

X-Men, FF, Thor.

Others also as the mood takes me, 27

I'd take Marvel over DC any day.

Anyone who played a paladin in EQ really can't call anyone else a p***y. It's a law I read somewhere.

Little greek loser who now lives in Florida.

What story are you making up now?

Link one thread where I made fun of people who played D&D. Back up your statement with facts. I was 18 and played D&D with other teenagers in the army. I also played poker/card games, monopoly, risk, random board games, and life threatening drinking games that involved tossing people out windows.

Whats your point?, you little socialist who moved to the US of A.

How can you make money playing D&D?

I know how you can M:TG

But D&D?, as far as I know there aren't tournaments. I don't think there could be any real money in collectibles either. I don't see how.

I worked for WotC
I played D&D a lot, taught it to others, and learned how to sell it to parents.

Not to be a stickler but then you never made money "playing" D&D, you sold it.

Na, I didn't say that, Kbarr. I was inclining that you make fun of people non stop for being "losers" and you go make yourself look like a hypocrite.

Dad was born here, so technically that makes me half American, even though I was born in Greece. Right? My US passport says so!

Everyone who isn't American or Republican is a Socialist to you, so I'm not even bothering with that one.

Lots of quality people move to the US as immigrants and are productive in society. I go to college, get good grades, work selling health/life insurance with pops, and don't go around wearing a Che Guevara shirt, so what could you possibly have against me? Only thing I can think of is my moderate-leaning-on-liberal mentality...

I don't look like a hypocrite. I played D&D for a short period of time. I treated it like a tactical, sqd lv war game. I didn't wear costumes, RP or spend 3 weeks writing up the life history of my half ork warrior/ranger. My style of play was not appreciated and in time found the game I liked even better. Warhammer. Over all, D&D players are freaks and I didn't like being around them. Warhammer geeks don't lean toward role play, thank god, they are more into tactics.

You were born greek. Now you live in the real world. Good for you.

You are a liberal socialist scumbag, stop telling me who I think ok, and who I think should disappear. I do that fine on my own.

well, I guess I kinda sold it, but I wasnt a sales person. I learned the new games as they came out and taught them to various managers and employees. For D&D, I did the 3rd ed when that was new. But, I had more fun doing the Wizkids products (Mage Knight in particular), and Warhammer 40k.

Man I have SO much shit. Then mid hobby I learned how to dupe with RTV, clay and leggos. Shit, I would get free lead weights from all the tire guys in bklyn , take hit home, melt them, then drip the liquid lead into cold water. Making little drops of lead. I used that for the dupes. I would look at someones shit, ask to borrow one old OOP mini if unpainted, come back next week with 30 dupes, exact dupes:)

I have about 50 Zoats, all dupes and painted at least a 7. When people used to see them they would freak, Zoats are so rare:)

heh I still have about 3k points worth of Dark Eldar. Maybe 5 of them I actually finished painting. I just played with them all primed. I miss playing 40k. Since I'm just a burden on to curent guild in eq, I could actually devote a night to 40k again instead.

Just for the record. If it wasn't for D & D, you wouldn't have played EQ. EQ is simply a graphical version of D & D . (corrected by Frax0rz!)

f**k DC!
Have at least one full set of:
Amazing Spiderman
Silver Surfer
X-Men
Uncanny Xmen
Avengers
Fantastic Four
Ghost Rider
Alpha Flight

Misc:
Frank Miller 's Dark Knight Graphic Novels
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that wasnt colored in!
Robotech
Various Malibu Comics.
