Well, you all know that there are two versions of everquest II, one of them was released specially for Asia but was later introduced worldwide. I was wondering if someone could explain what the differences between the normal and the east version of the game are. Should I even bother trying EQ2 east?

Not at all, and there’s no problem with that, because, well… EQ2 East exists no more – it ceded to exist last year in May or so. Contrary to the information you have, the game wasn’t introduced to the world, but the players were incorporated into other servers in normal EQ2 game.

yeah, eq2 asia release isn't a real release. they have asia servers, but they run the same version as the rest.
