I see that EQ2 is getting more popular every day. But what about EQ1? I have learned that EQ2 is not a sequel of EQ1, but a completely different game. Is EQ1 worth trying or it is better to buy EQ2, without playing EQ1 before? Is EQ1 cheaper now. Would you recommend EQ1?

I think that there is a very little group of people who are still enjoying EQ1. I don’t know about the game’s price, but I doubt it is expensive. However, I wouldn’t recommend buying it, because most people abandoned it for EQ2. Maybe EQ1 is a good solution if your computer is out of date (old hardware that couldn’t support EQ2).

yeah I agree. I used to play EQ 1 but then once EQ 2 came out , I quickly switchedto EQ 2 , and honestly, it was worth it. Been playing for 3 years and never tired of it. Awesome instances, grouping, raids, etc. You can't really get bored of it in my opinion =)
