I don’t think so, I think that the list is big as it is. I mean with all the prestige classes that is. I know that to many people having to choose between only 4 classes in the beginning is a bit strange but I think there’s more logic to this system then to those where you’re totally specialized from the start. You start as a commoner, and then you figure out whether you’re more into fighting, magic, religious stuff, or thieving and such. And as you get even more advanced, you specialize yourself in some particular field.
