Currently have a nice flexible work schedule and wanna take a nice dive into a GOOD and I stress the word good mmorpg for the summer...
I know:
SWG
DAOC
AO
are not on the popular list of choices
What would you all say is a nicely developed mmorpg besides EQ?
The nerve wracking energy to start over in EQ isn't worth my summer nor time esp when you have a GF you need to entertain for the evenings..

Eq and P{lanetside are the best massively multi ganes I've plaed in a long time, and you can gt a package deal now.
Other than that seems WOW is the favorite up and coming title.
SWG won't be ready til x-mas apparently.

SWG is awesome, especially after the last few patches. I'd take it off your 'not to play' list and give it a shot.

It's only fun if you play with a group of people regularly using voice chat. Then you can do stupid stuff like fly 20 galaxies over an enemy base and have a giant destruction derby, while ramming the shit out of enemy Reavers and Liberators.
If you just play in pickup squads then ya, the experience sucks.
