Which Everquest 2 class to pick?

I am facing this huge problem that only players with a lot more experience then I have can help me to solve. Which Everquest 2 class to pick? I dont have any favorites and I am not having a trouble picking between two classes. You have all the freedom in the world to pick one class and tell me why that class should be my choice.

It is hard to recommend a class to somebody you dont know. What class suits you the best depends on that what kind of things you like and expect to be doing in the virtual world. I like evil races and that is why I am the dark elf. I prefer evil races and it is not because they have something more to offer then the good races can. It is just who I like to be in the virtual world. Everybody should choose for themselves and stick by their choice because it will never go smooth which ever class you decide to be part of. I hope you will make a right choice and will be satisfied with it.
