Surely there's some adventure left on this planet. Where is it? I'm not talking about paying $250 so some college hippie stoners can take you down a whitewater course, nor am I talking about volunteering in Africa to teach starving children how to do algebra.

I guess I mean exploration. There's nowhere to explore!

I tried to go exploring recently. The best I could find was shopping malls, new housing developments and what will end up being a Lowes.

I've heard about places far away from me where adventure may still lurk, but I've been reluctant to shell out $400 in gas to find out.

I liked to follow the small roads that leave out of town just to see where they go. I call that adventuring!

Now I just use Google Earth.

Personally I recommend taking 6 months and exploring SE Asia. It is cheap as hell, great food, awesome women, and loads of fun.

Just go places youve never been before . Theres adventure in that. It will just cost money to get there.

Unless we are talking about walking out your slding glass door into your backyard for adventure. Then no... it wont cost you anything !!!!

Jeff Corwin > Steve irwin as far as adventure goes
