I never really got into BitTorrent.

Maybe it was just me but every time I tried to go to suprnova and download it they wanted me to pay for it. Everyone I know that has it said they got it for free though.

So I just look for it on ftp sites and if I can find a good source on K++ I get it there. I don't download as much software as I used to so it really isn't worth putting any effort into something new.

The only s****y part about K++ is half of the time you get some shit that isn't what it is labeled or a bunch of dicks that turn their bandwith down to nothing. The best ones are the people that b***h when you cancel their upload off of you for not sharing or having their bandwith down to 0.

I don't pirate anything any more. Amazingly, my system has 0 virii and 0 adware/spyware. I feel bad taking serial #s for products I can't afford at this moment but hey... I have 2 years of 3DS Max experience which I could not have gained if I had to blow $4k just to try the software out.

I used to use Rootus' ftp site and sometimes use suprnova for newer games. Now I just have friends send me stuff over AIM. =/

I use astalavista or efnet for serials etc, though.

I don't pirate software because I like having the instruction manual, pretty box, etc. Same with movies and CDs. Yep, I'm that guy =/

I like to have the instruction but will just go out an buy books for the more expensive stuff.

The last program I dowloaded was Maya. I am not ready to pay $10,000 for a software program Razz . The program is really nice though. It was used to make alot of the stuff in starwars and some of the LoTR stuff .

I was like wow this will be a cool program as i struggle making a beach ball bounce and pivot.

I think winmx is great.

There are chat rooms for ISO games, burning programs and so on . You go into these rooms and find people that are loaded with programs. Great place for the us pirates. Arrrrrrrrr.

I forgot about DirectConnect. I got a lot of PSX RPG ROMS off of DC++. I got Suikoden I, Suikoden II, Wild ARMS 1 and 2, FF7 8 9, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve I and II, Chrono Cross and Xenogears. That was all in one day, and I haven't had a use for it since.

I've used DC many-a-time in the past, but... I just don't like it anymore. At least, I didn't. It seemed very slow. I've gotten used to the speeds of bit torrent things, so downloading from a single person seems to take forever. That's about when I stopped... when I leared of BT.

Not much difference between stealing from the store and 'sharing' online.

I actually do neither...except MP3's, which is reasonable because I'm not paying $20 for a CD that I will listen to for a max of 8 hours in my lifetime.
