this is RP 2.0
RP 1.0 was killed by Venecia after pics of her fat breasts were posted (she called Ish's boss and he got fired, thus the site lost its original host)
RP 2.0 is a collection of motley idiots with a loose connection to the Tarew Marr server (R.I.P.)
prior to 2.0 and 1.0, people use to hang out and post at Abiworld, which was the shelter site sought by the uncouth refugees from the VN boards. Abiworld met with destruction for reasons unclear, but I think it had something to do with Abi joining CoS and wanting to "roleplay" as "evil." basically i think he got sick of the site and it went down, my memory isnt 100% about that site's demise.
prior to abiworld the community began at the VN Boards server boards for Tarew, linked thru the EQvault site. here such memories were made as the Bride of Gorfan, and the almost daily drama of the server's guild tensions kept EQ-fiends entertained at their slackjaw jobs. LET THEM WEAKEN IT, the ninja'ing of Docter's guild, and other such sagas unfolded on these boards until the introduction of the HallMonitor. A mod with no clue and a lust for power, the unreasonable censorship and bans forced a mass exodus of the most popular server board community (arguably, E'ci had more posts).
That is the tale more or less, in reverse chronological order.
