it was introduced as a no-transfer server, as in everyone had to start out from scratch and there *was* no twinkage on it...

if you really want to play from 1 to 65 again and not worrie about how fast you do it but rather just have a good time this is the place to do it.
not only do you get to enjoy the small loot everytime something drops but most times it really is a upgrade. rather than have level=all because you already twinked the shit out of yourself and dont care about any of the drops you get.
personaly i dont find level 65 any more fun than level 35 . same thing different place .....
i guess the best part to me is every zone has people to group with and being LFG doesnt take ages . every zone from 1-65 has people in it and willing to group with ya. people are not snobs "yet" and only group with people who have what they "think" is the right gear.
basically it brings back the fun i had when i first started playing , the fun i stopped having as a higher level on TM ......

Stromm is pretty badass . My guild cypher is the own ^_^. A lot of old school eq player started back up. Like some who were in the orignal Clan of shadow back when they use to own ... WAYYYY back. ya it's a fun server though.

I play on it too, only got a 17 cleric atm because i dont have any of the expansions so groups are hard as hell to get in old school worlds. Cypher is the badass guild on the server it seems. I think its kinda cool how old school equipment costs so much money, payed 120 for a velium etched stone mace for gods sake yesterday. Maybe once august 18th comes around i can pick up all the expansions and get some cool shit and level up.

ya these are all people who played other servers and know how to own these encounters....
as ive always thought . gear is meaningless compaired to real skill.
these guys are flying though content without ever farming shit. skill/knowlage > any gear there is....
