I've leveled many classes and I would have to say paladin. The only way I could do it is going prot and tanking things because finding (decent) tanks was always difficult.

i think the slowest is priest.
even when you spec shadow you use your mana way too fast and end up drinking alot in between mobs

yeh thats true seems to be like that with mages too. expensive spells. and ur constantly trying to crowd contoll (frost nova / blink) so u use it so fast.

There are no healing classes, and i doubt people would level 1-70 as a healing spec.. so out of the rest i would honestly say i found warrior the hardest. Some of the class quests took a long time, im not sure but it took ages! :S

Spec prot and AoE grind. I got my BE paladin to 70 in about 10 days /played without the use of bots, boosts or anything. You spec prot at lvl 34, get a shield spike, use retri aura and pull about 4-5 mobs the same lvl as you and use your shield spike, retri aura, consecration (others say dont use conse, get a few pieces of int gear and tell them to stfu), and i forgot the other skill used, it was a long time ago i levelled my Paladin.

druids level really slow, i think paladins for the most part are worst though.

this
i got from 30 - 60 pretty quick in the prot tree. alternate judging judgments on mana/light you can pretty much continuously fight mobs your own level 4 at a time and not leave combat till your eyes are bleeding.
there's only a few spots this works though, like the murlocs in dustwallow, you can drag a group of them up and down the bank picking up respawns and never leave combat.
i leveled a priest to 60 holy as well, that was brutal but i liked healing. i switched to shadow for 60-70 when TBC came out and never went back.

Slowest leveling class would probably be a pally, i found they have the most downtime to killing speed.

I leveled a boomkin drood on my friend's acc before I got into wow myself.
Slowest 1-60 ever, it gets pretty fast in outland because of the gear with bonuses.

Paladin was definitely the hardest and slowest. Sure, you could aoe grind a few mobs at a time as prot, but I always found myself subject to being ganked all the time. I went ret to 60 then a holy/prot spec for good healing and reckoning.

Priest probably takes the longest just because you have to drink so much if your shadow and doing it as holy is like smashing your face against the wall.
